Hey there! I’m Cris — a UX designer based in sunny Orange County, California seeking opportunities to leverage my skillset in emerging tech.

Before all the analyzing, designing, and prototyping, I have always saw the importance of compassion. Bringing the person's needs and frustrations to the forefront was second nature to me thanks to my 6 years experience in behavioral health. It helped me guide individuals with complex issues by directing them to the closest solution possible while providing a positive experience.

It dawned on me that I can also use this same framework to design better products, systems, and services that can people can enjoy.

I continue to hone my design skills by being involved with like minded individuals and communities. I am currently an active member at IterateUX where I participate in design, research, and usability challenges. When I have free time, I also join meet-up events hosted by Friends of Figma in Irvine. These meetups give me a chance to not only develop my design skills, but allows me to socialize and nerd out on Figma. 🤓

Outside of work, I'm always looking for ways to improve myself as an individual and find new adventures to enjoy in this world. Whether that's dancing, cooking, hanging out with friends, or being in nature, I'll always make sure to always have fun and be present. Check out some fun below! 👇
